After studying history, literature, and creative writing at Columbia University, Colleen covered the romance industry as an editor at Romantic Times magazine. Later, she earned her PhD in Victorian literature and became a teacher of both high school and college English courses. She also writes for digital publications, and freelances as a development editor and a pitch-writer. Colleen lives in New Jersey with her family.
